upon leaving the place for food i spotted the rainbow! started snapping photos of it like crazy from the car, then i noticed there were two rainbows :D

went gym-ing with serene on monday. not too productive, but certainly had a good talk + makan session after (whooops!)
bought this as it reminded us of the nostalgic "kinder surprise"

omg the chocolate was DAMN good la! anyone who sees it must buy it for me! :x the toy was damn ugly though HAHAHA.
rene and i headed to cafe 18 for food after! beef brisket for me, fried yi ding noodles for her and oxtail soup to share. YAY!

ps: sorry for the horrible quality photos! they are taken with my could-die-on-me-anytime phone camera and thus! my sis stole my compact camera (not that that was a good one to start with) and its not possible for me to bring my DSLR everyone as much as i want to.
been itching to get a new compact camera for the longest time! enables me to video too... i know it's just an urge and temptation to spend money but it seems so useful to me at this point of time and especially since i will use it somehow or rather. but right now i really need to save up for ___ so ):
was checking out Samsung's ES10 because the features are quite good and its only at
$180!!! Super cheap la! but one bad thing i don't like about it is that it uses AA batteries instead of the rechargeable lithium.
then the salesman tried to persuade me to get this instead... the L100
alot sleeker and uses lithium battery and also only at
$250!! wahlao so tempting! (but weng pulled me out of the store in time, lol)
AHHH!! actually any cheap camera would do lor, as long as its of reasonable specifications and has anti-shake. you have no idea how much my hands tremble, idkwhy. but right now, other things seem to be on my priority list so unless i suddenly have the extra cash, i'll just have to make do with what i have. don't be greedy! ):

haven't blogged in so long that blogger.com isn't even remembered in my address bar anymore! D: here are just splashes of photos cause i'm so damn lazy to blog and it doesn't help that i have to edit EVERY one of my photos before it leaves my computer so yes. (ahhaa, rant over)
out with my grandma and sis one late morning because my grandma wanted to have dimsum. it's such a rare outing, the three of us like that.

Met the girls in town and we practically treated it as a food trip! We couldn't stop buying food wherever we went and because jying was unexpectedly realllllyyyy hungry. headed to far east for chicken rice first :D

headed down to clarke quay just to try our luck at the river cruise but we ended up at haagen dazs because it started pouring.
so not worth it. 3 scoops + one (microwaved) crepe = $21?
went outside to camwhore
then we got bored of the area and decided to go for a movie! jyings had to go before the movie but she accompanied us down to lido anw ;) i want to watch so many movies and things have changed such that boyf and i don't just watch movies everytime we go out now (which is a good thing) but yea, so many movies i wanna catch. Watched He's just not that into you with Marinne and Serene and i think it's something lighthearted, something you watch for fun, for the cast. It wasn't all that good, but i thought it was at least easier to absorb. The book was too non-local context and thus it didn't seem realistic.
Jennifer Aniston's story was damn sweet la i'm going to be like val and melt all over already. and she looked damn hot in the show (maybe thats why i went to the gym with rene yesterday) HAHAHA. shh shh, you didn't hear that.

we went to ikea because i wanted to check out some stuff (and cause i just like to spend money like ffffff) and so we got off a bus and walked towards the building when this huge branch fell like 5m in front of us. A guy got hit slightly by it but if he had walked a tat faster he would be crushed under the branches and all. and it doesn't help that that tree had lots of fruits and tons of ants D:

lunch at ikea saw us in the longest queues and the boyf devoured 6 chicken wings and a plate of pasta all by himself.
headed to town to shop a little before heading to a restaurant at far east shopping centre.

14.02.09______ hunting with weng at chinatown. couldn't skip the dessert no matter how full i was so we headed there anyway. i miss the wengz. hope we settle _____ soon. i.cannot.wait.
roamed bata (wtf?) after that before meeting ros at starbucks. rushed our way to Victoria Theatre to catch Chestnuts (our second year in a row!!)
didn't get a photo with ros (shucks i kept reminding myself!!) though ): headed home just to change into slippers and go for my manicure & pedicure session. My manicurist just reminded me of how r/s can be quite scary and just how many different kinds of guys (and girls) there are.

15.02.09 Sunday saw me heading to town just to collect the mbox from enna. then to vivo to meet boyf. secretly meet him later to give him time to get me my present but he's not supposed to know that hahahha. we both came out of the gantry holding white and baby blue paper bags.
this is the first time i had no clue at all what he was getting/got me. The present is for anni btw, nothing for vday cause we didn't celebrate.
wanted to catch slumdog/benjamin button but the timings weren't suitable. hilarious how we mentioned we were both heading home for dinner and the next moment we were taking a train to Chinatown again to eat

16.02.09Being the kiasu people we are, Enna and I were at the DAW at like 8am this morning. It's been ages since i got up so early it's insane. Managed to complete and bounce our work by 9am and that's when our holidays officially began :D
Reached home at 10.30am (i'm usually only just awake then) and tucked into a can of campbell soup. then i fell asleep on the bed right after i sat on it. ziggy snuggled up beside me, really cute. decided to head down to haji to visit sophia cause i'm just nice like that.
got pulled to help upstairs, then when i finally left i decided to visit whiteroom and got into a joke telling session. and so when i finally did reach home it was like 8.30pm already. Headed to the docs, funny scenario at the counter. am lazy to blog. I'll blog after tmr when i spend an awesome day with ros.
then an awesome day with boyf on weds.
ps: some people should just mind their own business.

ppps: some people should just stop pissing me off indirectly.
pppps: some people should just get kicked in the balls -- really hard.
